Staying in the VIP tower was a great experience overall. The rooms, despite requesting a nonsmoking one, were very spacious, clean, and had all the usual accessories of a good hotel. The service was exceptional, with staff members, including a young professional man in charge of sales, being of great help. The location in Chengdu City was perfect, offering proximity to shopping areas, the Brocade River, flower and pet markets, panda sanctuary, and Wenshu monastery. The dining options provided a wide array of choices, and the facilities were top-notch.

I loved my stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, right in the center of Chengdu with convenient transportation and overlooking a vibrant bar street across the river. The rooms were comfortable, despite my request for a non-smoking room, and had a small balcony to enjoy the views. The dining options were varied and delicious, offering a wide selection of local products. The service was attentive, especially with a professional young man managing the region's sales, even though the overall ambiance felt a bit too state-owned. However, the location was difficult to fully assess during my short stay.
